Loctite 272 is a suitable agent for cases where you need to secure the joint against spontaneous loosening and at the same time thoroughly seal it. You can secure the thread and seal it simply by applying Loctite 272 directly to the thread, where it then hardens without air entering between the two metal surfaces.
It;s recommended using Loctite 272 more in the case when you want to ensure a permanently secured connection, because the high-strength securing device is very difficult to dismantle afterwards. Loctite 272 is mainly used to ensure the strength and sealing of really large screws (M24 and larger). Provides high resistance to vibrations and shocks.
