DINITROL RC900 SPRAY is a rust converter based on an organic chelate complex combined with epoxy resin.
It actively converts the rust on the substrate into a stable organic iron complex. When the product dries, it forms an impermeable barrier against further corrosion.
DINITROL RC900 SPRAY penetrates about 7 - 10 times deeper into the rust than conventional rust conversion products and forms a dry and strong adhesive film that is suitable as a base for paint build-up and as a carrier for further corrosion protection products.

Pre-treatment
DINITROL RC900 SPRAY should be applied to corroded surfaces. Remove loose rust, grease and dirt with a wire brush, sandpaper or sandblasting. It is best to clean carefully with acetone or paint thinner before application.
Application
Shake the spray can well before application. The product should be applied several times in succession at a distance of approx. 25 cm.
The metal temperature should not be below 10ºC. The material is dust-dry after one hour. If necessary, a further coat can be applied.
Recoating
DINITROL RC900 SPRAY can be recoated with most DINITROL corrosion protection products and colour systems
