Product description

The bag gas filter is an important component of the LPG/CNG system. It is used to filter impurities such as oil and dirt particles in the gas flow in order to extend the service life and functionality of system components such as injection nozzles and reducers. The filter is integrated directly into the gas hose line using one-ear clamps.

Introduction

Thank you for choosing our hose gas filter. This product was developed to reliably protect LPG systems in gas-powered vehicles. Please read these instructions carefully before installing or using the filter. It contains important safety instructions and warnings.

Intended use

The bag gas filter is used to filter impurities in the LPG fuel system and protects downstream components. It may only be used in gas-powered vehicles in accordance with the specifications in these instructions.

General information

Danger to life due to leaks: Never work on a gas system if you can smell gas. Shut off the gas supply immediately and contact a specialised workshop.

Explosion hazard: LPG is highly flammable. Keep fire, sparks and ignition sources away when installing or maintaining the filter.

Installation by qualified personnel only: The filter must be installed by qualified personnel (e.g. in a specialised workshop) to ensure the safety of the gas system.

Specific warnings

Installation instructions: The filter must be installed in the correct flow direction (see labelling on the filter housing). Only use suitable one-ear clamps to attach the filter to the hose to ensure a secure fit.

Regular inspection: The filter must be checked every 6 months for leaks, wear and contamination. A defective or dirty filter must be replaced immediately.

Disposal instructions

Used filters must not be disposed of with household waste. Contact an authorised collection point for hazardous waste to avoid environmental and safety risks.

Installation steps

Preparation

Ensure that the gas system is completely depressurised before starting the installation.

Install the filter:

Cut the gas hose to the correct length. Place the filter between the prepared hose ends. Pay attention to the direction of flow (marked by an arrow on the filter housing). Attach the filter to both ends of the hose using one-ear clamps.

Leak test

After installation, pressurise the gas system and check for leaks using a leak detection spray.

Closing

Ensure that all components are securely fitted and that there are no leaks.
