Oily residues are reliably filtered out of the gas flow and collect in the Truma filter pad. As soon as this is saturated, you simply replace it with a new one. This way, they do not remain in the filter cup.

How and when do I change the Truma filter pads?
The new generation Truma gas filter with black housing has an oil separator that filters out oil particles that are carried along with the gas flow as aerosols. The oil particles drip down the oil separator and are picked up by a special filter pad. You must replace this pad with the black Truma gas filter every time you change the cylinder.
The oil separator element only needs to be replaced if it has been mechanically damaged.
