1. the vehicle must be completely switched off before installing or replacing the changeover switch

2. the switch may only be installed or replaced by qualified personnel.

3. only original spare parts from the manufacturer may be used.

4. the changeover switch must be regularly maintained and checked.

5. no modifications may be made to the changeover unit.

6. the changeover unit must be protected from moisture and heat.

7. if problems or malfunctions of the changeover unit occur, the vehicle must be shut down immediately and qualified specialists called in.
