What does the gas filter filter?

The gas may contain oily particles such as olefins, paraffins and hydrocarbon compounds. If the connected appliances, such as the refrigerator, are now in operation, the particles can accumulate in the gas system and its components, such as the gas pressure regulator, valves and pipework , clogging them and impairing their function.

When do I need a gas filter?

If LPG gas is used in the vehicle, the use of a motorhome gas filter is recommended. The cost of a motorhome gas filter is disproportionate to problems and defects in the appliances or motorhome gas system itself. The Truma gas filter, for example, filters up to 99.9 % of aerosols out of the gas.
