Dekasyl MS-1 is a universal, elastic sealant and adhesive that cures with humidity.
Dekasyl MS-1 is designed for the production of internal and external elastic seals and can be used in the following industries, for example: Automotive, bus, train, caravan, or the general construction industry.
In general, Dekasyl MS-1 adheres well without primer to clean, dry, dust and grease free substrates of aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder coated metal, most painted metal surfaces, glass, PVC, polyester (GRP), painted and varnished wood, etc. Not suitable on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE substrates.
Fields of application:
- Elastic joints and seals in e.g. bus, caravan, train and truck construction.
- Elastic joints and seals in air and ventilation systems
- Sealing joints around windows, doors, etc.
- Sealing in the wood and metal industry
- Sealing of GRP or aluminium profile to painted sheet metal wall
The fields of application are manifold and can be extended at will.
