Dekasyl MS-1 is a universal, elastic sealant and adhesive that cures with air humidity.
Dekasyl MS-1 is designed for the production of internal and external elastic seals and can be used, for example, in the following industries: Automotive, bus, train, caravan, or the general construction industry.
In general, Dekasyl MS-1 adheres well without primer to clean, dry, dust- and grease-free substrates of aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder-coated metal, most painted metal surfaces, glass, PVC, polyester (GRP), painted and varnished wood, etc. Not suitable on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE substrates.
Areas of application:
- Elastic connections and seals in e.g. bus, caravan, train and lorry construction
- Elastic connections and seals in air and ventilation systems
- Sealing joints around windows, doors, etc.
- Sealing in the wood and metal industry
- Sealing GRP or aluminium profiles to painted sheet metal walls
The areas of use and application are diverse and can be extended as required.

Hazard statements:
- Causes serious eye irritation.
- May cause an allergic skin reaction.
- May cause respiratory distress.
- Harmful if swallowed.
- May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.
- Toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effects.
Precautionary statements:
- IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTRE/doctor. Do not induce vomiting.
- IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
- IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing.
- Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
- Avoid release into the environment.
- Only dispose of completely empty container to the recycling centre.
