Safety instructions for LPG-FIT thermoplastic hose XD-3 (5mm - equivalent to 6mm copper) - by the metre:
- The LPG-FIT thermoplastic hose XD-3 may only be used for the transport of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
- The installation of the thermoplastic hose may only be carried out by a qualified person.
- Care must be taken to ensure that the thermoplastic hose does not run close to hot surfaces or flames.
- The thermoplastic hose must not be kinked or bent in order to avoid damage.
- When connecting the thermoplastic hose to the LPG system, the prescribed tightening torques must be observed.
- The thermoplastic hose must be checked regularly for damage or wear.
- If the thermoplastic hose is damaged or worn, it must be replaced immediately.
- Ensure that no sharp objects can come into contact with the thermoplastic hose.
- Before commissioning the LPG system, all connections must be checked for leaks.
- Ensure that the thermoplastic hose is not subjected to excessive loads.
