1. the AEB MP48 control unit may only be installed and serviced by trained personnel.

2. the vehicle and the control unit must be completely de-energised before installation.

3. the control unit is only suitable for use in vehicles with 3 or 4 cylinders and must not be used in other vehicle types.

4. the relevant safety guidelines and regulations must be observed when installing the control unit.

5. no short circuits may occur when connecting the control unit to the power supply.

6. the control unit must be installed in such a way that it is protected from moisture, heat, dust and vibrations.

7. the control unit must not be opened. All maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by authorised specialist personnel.

8. if problems or faults occur, the control unit must be checked immediately by a qualified specialist.
