The warning sticker ‘Switch off all gas appliances before refuelling’ is intended for use on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems in motorhomes, caravans and other recreational vehicles fitted with refillable gas cylinders or pressure vessels. It clearly alerts the vehicle user that all gas appliances must be switched off before refuelling.
The 06/2026 edition of DVGW Worksheet G 607 set out specific requirements for self-filling pressure vessels in liquefied petroleum gas systems in recreational vehicles. Such systems must be labelled with the prescribed warnings. The warning sticker is designed for permanent and clearly visible affixing in the vicinity of the gas cylinder system or at the designated location within the vehicle.

Note: For systems with pressure vessels designed for self-refuelling, further labelling requirements and specifications set out in DVGW G 607, edition 06/2026, must be observed. These include, in particular, warnings that the pressure vessel must not be removed, that refuelling is only permitted whilst the vessel is securely fixed in place, and that the seal on the installation must not be broken. This sticker does not replace any additional labelling that may be required.

Notes:
- All gas appliances must be switched off before each refuelling operation.
- The sticker must be affixed permanently and in a clearly visible position.
- The marking must not be covered, removed or rendered illegible.
- Any warning sticker that is damaged, faded or no longer clearly legible must be replaced.
- For liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems with pressure vessels designed for self-refuelling, all requirements of the applicable DVGW G 607 standard must be observed, as well as the specifications for the refillable gas cylinder and system components used.
- The warning sticker does not replace professional installation, nor does it replace the prescribed inspections and other markings required for the liquefied petroleum gas system.
