The CAMPKO plastic locking element is used to mechanically secure compatible quick-release couplings and helps to prevent the coupling from becoming disengaged accidentally. The locking element is suitable for both CAMPKO and ALUGAS quick-release couplings.
This component is ideal as a replacement for a damaged or lost retaining element on a compatible CAMPKO or ALUGAS quick-release coupling.

Notes:
- The locking element must only be used on CAMPKO or ALUGAS quick-release couplings that are designed for this purpose and are compatible.
- Before each use, the retaining element must be checked for cracks, deformation, material fatigue or other damage.
- Damaged or incorrectly fitted safety elements must not be used and must be replaced.
- Before use or refuelling, ensure that the quick-connect coupling is fully connected and that the safety element is correctly fitted.
- The safety element must not be modified, drilled out, heated or otherwise mechanically altered.
- The safety element does not replace the prescribed inspections of the quick-connect coupling and the gas-carrying connections.
- Work on gas-carrying components and LPG filling systems must only be carried out by suitably qualified specialist personnel.
