Application
The replacement tank sensor is used when the existing sensor of the Dimes WAVE system needs to be replaced. It is designed for use with an existing WAVE transmitter box and is suitable for compatible 4-hole RV propane tanks with a compatible level indicator. Before installation, check compatibility with the tank, valve, direction of rotation and WAVE module.

General safety
- Installation and replacement must only be carried out by qualified personnel; when working on LPG tanks and level gauges, the specifications of the tank, valve and system manufacturers must be observed.
- Before replacement, ensure that there are no ignition sources, open flames, sparks or hot surfaces in the vicinity.
- Use this component only with compatible 4-hole RV propane tanks and matching Dimes WAVE components; incorrect installation or orientation may result in inaccurate level readings.
Installation and handling
- Do not open, modify, damage or mechanically alter the sensor.
- Keep plug and contact areas clean, dry and free from corrosion; moisture or dirt can impair signal transmission.
- During installation, ensure correct positioning, secure fastening and tension-free cable routing.
- Do not kink or crush the cable, or route it over sharp edges; ensure adequate protection against chafing, tensile stress and vibration.
Testing after installation
- After replacement, check the operation of the level indicator and verify that the displayed values are plausible.
- In the event of unusual readings, dropouts or malfunctions, do not continue to operate the system until the cause, connections and compatibility have been checked.
- If gas-carrying components have been disconnected or modified, a leak test must be carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations and the manufacturer’s specifications.
Storage and disposal
- Store in a dry, clean place, protected from direct heat, moisture and mechanical stress.
- Dispose of the old part and packaging in accordance with local regulations; do not dispose of electrical/electronic components with household waste.
- Keep out of reach of children; small parts and packaging material may pose a hazard.
