Victron VRLA lead-acid batteries can be stored for long periods without intermediate charging due to the use of lead-calcium grids and high-purity materials. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. It doubles each time the temperature rises by 10°C. When stored in a cool place, Victron VRLA lead batteries can be stored for up to one year without intermediate charging.
