Developed for telecommunication applications; space-saving for boats and land vehicles
The deep cycle AGM telecoms series has been specially developed for use in telecoms systems. With their front terminals and small footprint, these batteries are ideal for shelf mounting. These batteries also help to solve space problems on the ground or access problems on board boats and vehicles.
AGM technology:
AGM stands for "Absorbent Glass Mat" (Absorbent Glass Fibre Mat). In these batteries, the electrolyte is contained in a glass fibre mat between the plates. The acid is transported by capillary action.
Low self-discharge:
By using lead-calcium grids with a high degree of purity, VRLA batteries from Victron can be stored for a long time without having to be recharged. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. This value doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature.
Low internal resistance:
Tolerates very high charging and discharging rates
Large number of charge cycles possible:
Over 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.
