Victron Energy Venus GX - the communication centre of your installation - the state-of-the-art monitoring and control solution from Victron, running the Venus OS operating system. It is the centrepiece of your energy system. All other system components - such as inverters/chargers, solar chargers and batteries - are connected to it. The VGX ensures that everything works harmoniously together. With the Venus, you can communicate with all the components of your system and ensure that everything is working properly. You can use your smartphone (or other device) to monitor data and change settings in real time via the free Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM). As soon as you log in to the Venus GX, you get an instant overview of your system: battery charge status, current power consumption, power yield from the PV system, from the grid or power supplied by a generator. Venus GX can be programmed to start a generator automatically. You can choose between a low voltage, high demand or the charging status of the battery as the start condition. You can also set the start to the end of "rest" times. This prevents accidental noise being made in the middle of the night that could cause a disturbance.
