Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)
Especially in overcast conditions when light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves energy yield by up to 30 % compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10 % compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Advanced maximum power point detection for partial shading. In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to adjust to a local MPP. However, this may not be the optimum MPP. The innovative algorithm of the BlueSolar device will always maximise the energy yield by adjusting to the optimum MPP.

No cooling fan. Maximum efficiency at over 98 %. Full output current up to 40 C (104 °F).
Flexible charging algorithms
Fully programmable charging algorithm (see also the software page on our website) and eight pre-programmed algorithms that can be selected via a rotary knob.
