Victron BlueSolar MPPT solar charge controller
The Victron BlueSolar MPPT solar charge controller is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to get the most out of their solar system. With its advanced technology, robust design and simple yet comprehensive monitoring and control options, it sets standards in terms of efficiency and reliability. Thanks to an innovative MPPT algorithm, advanced MPP detection for partial shading, outstanding efficiency and flexible charging algorithms, a Victron BlueSolar always ensures optimum yield.
12V and 24V batteries can be charged with all models, and 36V and 48V batteries can be charged with models from 150/35 and the 100/20-48V. There are 8 predefined charging algorithms and the option of making your own settings. The optionally available Smart Battery Sense temperature sensor enables temperature-compensated charging that is gentle on the battery.
Protective functions and connections
The protective functions include PV reverse polarity protection, PV overvoltage protection, overheating protection and automatic battery voltage detection to prevent incorrect configurations. The IP43-protected housing and the sophisticated convection cooling allow an operating temperature of -30 °C to +60 °C at a humidity of up to 95%. Simple terminal connectors for wire end ferrules are used as standard for the solar input and the battery output. Models with the suffix "-MC4" in the title have permanently installed MC4 connectors instead.
VictronConnect and VRM portal
The VictronConnect app is available for remote monitoring and control via Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface, and a BlueSolar can also be integrated into VRM-Portal (Victron Remote Management) via a GX monitoring device such as the Cerbo GX or the Ekrano GX. All BlueSolar models have a VE.Direct connection for communication. Some models also have a VE.Can connection. These have the suffix "VE.Can" in the model designation.
Unlike the SmartSolar series, the BlueSolar series does not have an integrated Blueooth module. A VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle is required for a direct Bluetooth connection that is not mediated via a GX device. The SmartSolar Control display, which is also available as an option, is only compatible with the models in the BlueSolar series:
