As the name suggests, the MultiPlus is a combination of inverter and charger, housed in a single elegant package. This solution offers numerous features such as a true sine wave inverter, an adaptive charging function, Hybrid PowerAssist technology and multiple system integration options.
The MultiPlus prevents a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection, from being overloaded. Firstly, the charging process of the battery is automatically reduced to protect against overloading. Next, the output of a generator or shore power supply is boosted with energy from the battery.
In the event of a mains fault or if the shore power or on-board generator is interrupted, the Multis inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply to the connected consumers. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.
In conjunction with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), you can use the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website to monitor and control your MultiPlus and the system or systems locally (via LAN) or from a remote location (via the Internet). Access can be via a phone, tablet, laptop or PC with a wide range of operating systems.
