The Blue Smart IP22 charger is the professional battery charger with integrated Bluetooth. The Blue Smart IP22 charger can be used for devices in your workshop and for motor vehicles such as (classic) cars, motorbikes, boats and motorhomes.

The Blue Smart IP22 charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, changing settings and updating the charger when new features become available.
High efficiency
With an efficiency of up to 94 %, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5 watts, around five to ten times less than the standard.
Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm: Test - Bulk - Absorption - Recondition - Float - Storage
The Blue Smart Charger has a microprocessor-controlled "adaptive" battery management system. The adaptive function automatically optimises the charging process according to the way the battery is used.
Storage mode: less maintenance and ageing when the battery is not in use
Storage mode is activated when the battery has not been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimise gas formation and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to equalise the battery. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulphation, one of the main causes of premature battery failure.
Also charges lithium-ion batteries
Lithium-ion batteries are charged using a simple bulk absorption float algorithm.
Recovery function for fully discharged batteries
Starts the charging process even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. Reconnects to a fully discharged lithium-ion battery with internal disconnect function.
Night and LOW setting
In NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 50 % of the nominal power and the charger operates completely silently. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be cancelled manually.
Protected against overheating
As temperatures rise up to 50 °C, the output current is reduced, but the Blue Smart Charger does not fail.
