Victron Lynx Distributor - part of the modular Victron Lynx busbar system
The Lynx Distributor contains a positive and negative busbar with 4 connections for batteries and DC circuits. In addition, the positive busbar contains 4 fuse holders and their monitoring.
The busbar can be used alone or combined with several Victron Lynx modules to form a longer DC busbar and integrate more functions into the distribution system (battery monitoring, distributor, fuse integration or lithium battery management for Victron lithium batteries).
Status monitoring of the fuses
The Lynx Distributor recognises blown fuses and signals the status of the individual fuses via LED lights. This fuse detection circuit requires an external power supply, which can be connected to a Lynx Smart BMS or Lynx Shunt VE.Can via the RJ10 cable supplied.
When the Victron Lynx Distributor is connected to a Lynx Smart BMS, data can also be transferred and the status of the fuses can be monitored using the VictronConnect app.
Lynx Distributor is available with M8 or M10 busbars. M8 and M10 refer to the connections between the Lynx modules, not the battery and fuse connections. M8 and M10 variants are not compatible with each other.
