The Smart BMS CL 12-100 is a comprehensive battery management system (BMS) for batteries from Victron's Lithium Battery Smart 12.8 V series, which are available with a nominal voltage of 12.8 V in various capacities. This is the safest of the common lithium battery types. The maximum number of batteries in a system is 20, resulting in a maximum storage capacity of 84 kWh in a 12 V system. It has been specially developed for 12 V systems with a 12 V dynamo, e.g. for vehicles and boats.
