The quick-connect coupling was specifically designed for safe and efficient use with gas cylinders and meets the requirements of G 607. It offers a robust solution with innovative safety features:
Quick disconnection of the tank hose in an emergency: In an emergency, the hose can be quickly and safely disconnected to prevent uncontrolled gas leakage.
Enhanced safety through a double check valve: The check valve, integrated on both sides, prevents gas leakage both on the cylinder side and on the filling line side. This makes regular disconnection—for example, with forklift cylinders or similar applications—safe and straightforward.
Prevents refueling when the hose is disconnected: Thanks to the double check valve, gas can only flow when the coupling is properly connected.
Installation:
The quick-connect coupling must be installed directly on the multi-valve of the gas cylinder, between the inlet fitting and the LPG filling hose.

Safety and Warning Instructions
To be used only by trained professionals:
Work on gas lines or couplings must be performed exclusively by qualified professionals.Check before use:
Inspect the quick-connect coupling for damage, wear, or dirt before connecting it. A defective coupling must not be used.Avoid improper use:
- Use the coupling only for the intended gas cylinders and filling lines.
- Tampering with or modifying the coupling is strictly prohibited.
Ensuring a tight seal:
Perform a leak test after every installation or use to prevent gas leaks.
Specific Warnings
1. Mechanical Risks:
- Warning: Ensure that the coupling is fully engaged before filling the tank. A line that is not properly secured may come loose during operation and cause gas leaks.
- Note: If you encounter unusually high mechanical resistance, do not force the coupling open or closed.
2. Thermal Risks:
- Warning: The coupling must not be operated outside the specified temperature range (-20 °C to +60 °C), as this could impair its function and weaken the material.
3. Check valve malfunction:
- Warning: Regularly check the function of the check valve. If the valve does not close properly, there is a risk of a gas leak when the coupling is disconnected.
- Note: If the check valve is defective, the quick-connect coupling must be replaced immediately.
4. Accidental Disconnection of the Hose:
- Warning: Always use the locking clip to prevent accidental disconnection of the hose.
- Note: Regularly check the function of the locking clip and replace it if damaged.
Maintenance and Inspection Instructions
Regular Inspections:
Inspect the quick-connect coupling at least every 6 months for visible damage, material fatigue, and the proper functioning of all moving parts.Check Seals:
- Replace seals if they are brittle, damaged, or worn.
- Use only replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Functional Tests:
- Regularly test the quick-release mechanism and the check valve to ensure that both are functioning properly.
Cleaning:
- Clean the coupling only with mild cleaning agents. Do not use harsh chemicals, as they can damage the material.
Emergency Measures in Case of Malfunctions
Gas Leak:
- Stop refueling immediately.
- Remove the coupling and replace it with a certified unit.
Defective quick-release device:
- Secure the tank immediately and do not continue using the coupling.
