The DREHMEISTER refilling nozzle enables safe and economical refilling of small propane cylinders (up to 425 g) from larger gas cylinders (3 kg, 5 kg or 11 kg). Ideally suited for tradesman or roofer cylinders.

Operating media: Liquid petroleum gas (LPG) - propane and butane

Application: For safe and economical decanting of gas from 3 kg, 5 kg or 11 kg cylinders into micro cylinders up to 425 g, ideal for tradesmen's or roofer's cylinders.

Instructions for decanting:

  1. Turn large gas cylinder upside down and secure against tipping over (ideally with a transfer aid).
  2. Open the venting screw on the dipstick valve (venting nozzle) of the small cylinder.
  3. Open the valve of the large filling bottle.
  4. Open the valve of the small cylinder.
  5. As soon as liquid gas escapes from the dipstick valve, close the valve of the large cylinder immediately.
  6. Wait until no more liquid phase escapes.
  7. Close the vent valve on the small cylinder.
  8. Place both cylinders upright again and separate.

Safety instructions and warnings

In accordance with TRGS 725 / TRBS 3145: There must be no ignition sources, cellar openings, shafts or sewer inlets within a radius of 5 metres.

Use only outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. Decanting is strictly prohibited in rooms below ground level - e.g. cellars, shafts or storage rooms. ©HybridSupply

A safety distance of at least 5 metres from ignition sources, cellar openings and sewer inlets must be maintained. The dispenser bottle must be positioned upside down so that it cannot tip over.

The venting via the dipstick valve of the small cylinder must be checked. As soon as liquid gas escapes, the filling process must be stopped immediately and the vent valve closed. ©HybridSupply
