The BRC Just Junior control unit is a microprocessor-controlled module for precise control of LPG and CNG systems in vehicles with a Venturi system. It controls the gas supply based on the lambda signal via a stepper motor and ensures a balanced air/gas mixture.
Safety instructions and warnings
This control unit may only be installed and used in conjunction with LPG or CNG venturi systems.
Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by qualified specialist personnel, as incorrect installation or configuration can have safety-relevant effects on the vehicle behaviour.
Before connecting, ensure that the vehicle is de-energised. It is essential to observe the manufacturer's instructions on cable routing and earthing.
Special calibration software and a compatible programming cable are essential for commissioning. Only with this combination can a precise setting of the parameters be guaranteed.
The control unit is not waterproof and may only be installed in the designated locations in the engine compartment. Direct heat sources and mechanical stress must be avoided.
Any changes to the software or hardware structure will invalidate the operating licence and may impair road safety.
