SikaTack® Drive Purform repair kit 300ml - The application champion in car replacement glazing.

SikaTack® DRIVE (Purform®) is based on the Purform® technology. Purform® technology enables high-performance polyurethane products with less than 0.1 % monomeric diisocyanate for improved health and safety. SikaTack® DRIVE (Purform®) is a cold-applied windscreen adhesive for passenger car replacement glazing with a safe drive-away time of 60 minutes. The system is suitable for mobile and stationary use all year round and has been tested in accordance with FMVSS 212.

Application

SikaTack® DRIVE (Purform®) is only suitable for experienced users. This product and the associated installation instructions have been specifically designed for the replacement of car windscreens. If this product is used for applications other than replacement glazing, preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials under the relevant conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

Application

Apply SikaTack® DRIVE (Purform®) with a suitable high performance, battery-operated application gun.

Note the increase in viscosity at low temperatures. For easy processing, apply the adhesive at room temperature.

For an even adhesive layer thickness, it is recommended to apply the adhesive in the form of a triangular bead.

The open time is significantly shorter in hot and humid climates. The pane must always be installed within the open time. Never install a pane after a skin has formed on the adhesive.

Removal

Uncured SikaTack® DRIVE (Purform®) can be removed from tools and equipment with Sika® Remover-208 or other suitable solvents. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. Hands/skin must be washed immediately with suitable cleaning cloths (e.g. Sika® Handclean) or industrial hand cleaners and water. Do not use solvents on the skin!
