Properties and advantages:
Loctite 272 is a suitable agent for cases where you need to secure the connection against spontaneous loosening and seal it thoroughly at the same time. You can secure and seal the thread by simply applying Loctite 272 directly to the thread, where it then hardens without air getting between the two metal surfaces.
The use of Loctite 272 is recommended if you want to ensure a permanently secured connection, as the high-strength lock is very difficult to remove afterwards. Loctite 272 is mainly used to ensure the strength and tightness of really large screws (M24 and larger). Provides high resistance to vibrations and shocks.
