Loctite 221 is low-strength – it secures the thread, but you can manually remove it at any time after curing. Loctite 221 low-strength threadlocker is therefore suitable for threads that are frequently handled, for example due to revisions of machine parts and the like. After application, Loctite 221 cures in the joint without access to air. Use Loctite 221 to secure set screws, rather small threads, etc. Temperature resistance up to 150 °C is advantageous.
