LOCTITE® 573 250ml, green - slow curing, seals close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges

Features and benefits:

Loctite 573 is a surface sealant that can be used primarily where a long curing and assembly time must be accepted. Especially for parts that are more difficult to assemble. After curing without air access in the joint between bonded metal surfaces, Loctite 573 achieves medium strength and prevents the escape of liquids and gases.

Thanks to this seal, there is no direct contact between the metal surfaces of the flange, so that no contact corrosion occurs. The thixotropic character is advantageous, preventing run-off from the point of application. It is recommended to use Loctite 573 as a locally produced gasket especially for rigid flange connections, typically gearboxes, motor housings etc.
