- The spark plug may only be installed and serviced by trained and qualified personnel.

- The engine must have cooled down before removing and installing the spark plug.

- The spark plug must be set to the heat level recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

- When installing the spark plug, the tightening torque recommended by the manufacturer must be observed.

- The spark plug must not be removed while the engine is running.

- The ignition must be switched off before removing the spark plug.

- The spark plug must not be cleaned or serviced while it is still hot.

- Only spark plugs recommended by the manufacturer may be used to prevent damage to the engine.
