Votronic LED Tank Display HE 420

The VOTRONIC tank gauges were designed for precise level measurement in emergency vehicles. A display system consists of a tank sensor for measurement on the tank and a separate display unit. If the standard voltage signal 0...10 V is used, several displays can also be operated on the tank sensor.

All components have a very robust design, are waterproof moulded, designed for 12 V and 24 V on-board voltage and are completely vibration-proof. They are processor-controlled and continuously run internal safety checks.

The HE LED tank display was specially designed for harsh conditions in fire engines and is used to accurately display the extinguishing tank in the vehicle. It is designed as a panel version for installation in display panels and is available with two standardised measurement signals (0...10 V or 4...20 mA). This means that the device can not only be used with the VOTRONIC FW tank sensor, but can also be operated with sensors from other manufacturers with the same standardised signals.

The fill level is displayed in three colours with 10 super-bright light-emitting diodes as a stepless light bar, which allows the tank contents to be recorded precisely at a glance. The display brightness is controlled via an integrated photo element so that the display does not dazzle at night and is easy to read during the day even in full sunlight, even from an unfavourable viewing angle. The compact design and low installation depth are particularly advantageous. By simply connecting up to 4 HE 010 LED tank displays in parallel, the tank contents can be checked at almost any point on the vehicle. The display unit is moulded to be watertight, vibration-proof and protected against reverse polarity and overvoltage.

The HE 420 LED tank display can also be operated with 4...20 mA sensors and is connected to minus on the input side.

Note:These components, which are adapted to industrial standard signals (0...10 V or 4...20 mA), allow operation with other makes, but do not work with the VOTRONIC tank display system for motorhomes, caravans and off-road vehicles.
