- Product description
According to DIN EN 1789 for emergency vehicles
The VOTRONIC Start Alarm 124 is a warning device with acoustic (beeper) and visual (LED) alarm signalling for the starter battery in emergency vehicles with only one battery circuit (in accordance with DIN EN 1789, section 4.3.2). It is intended to warn the vehicle driver in good time of a battery that is no longer able to start.
An additional signalling horn, load relay or similar can be connected via a switching output (PNP, positive output max. 0.5 A). Reset to normal operation takes place automatically when the engine is running. The device is suitable for 12V and 24V operation and for all lead-acid battery types and makes. The electronics are protected against moisture and the connection is made in the terminal compartment at the rear.
The self-consumption is less than 3 mA (according to DIN EN 13976). The intelligent electronic evaluation of the Start Alarm 124 avoids false indications, e.g. in the event of voltage dips.
