Loctite 638 is used for fastening various parts, but is directly suitable for fastening cylindrical parts. This fastener can cure in a joint size of up to 0.25 mm and guarantees maximum strength and durability.
Curing takes place exactly in the joint without air access between two preferably metallic surfaces. Thanks to its high resistance, it does not crack, does not come loose and does not leak, especially in the event of vibrations and impacts.
Specifically, you can use Loctite 638 to fasten bushings and sleeves in housings and on shafts. The maximum operating temperature is 180 °C.
