- Product description
Diode battery isolators makeit possible to charge two or more batteries simultaneously via one dynamo without connecting the batteries to each other. Discharging the accessory battery, for example, does not discharge the starter battery.
Thanks to the use of Schottky diodes, the Argo battery isolators are characterised by a low voltage drop: at low current, the voltage drop is around 0.3 V and at nominal power around 0.45 V. All models are equipped with a compensation diode that can be used to slightly increase the output voltage of the inverter. This compensates for the voltage drop across the diodes in the insulator.
