Victron Energy Inverter/charger Multiplus Compact 12/1600/70-16 Ve.Bus

The MultiPlus is, as the name suggests, a combined inverter and charger in one elegant package. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology and several system integration functions.

Unique PowerAssist function

The MultiPlus prevents the overloading of a limited AC source, e.g. a generator or shore power connection. Firstly, the battery charge is automatically reduced if an overload would otherwise occur.

Interrupted AC power supply (UPS function)

In the event of a mains failure or an interruption to the shore or generator supply, the inverter in the Multi is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices can continue working without interruption.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation

Up to 6 multis can be operated in parallel to achieve a higher output power. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please refer to our data sheets to see which models are parallel, three-phase and phase-split capable.

Remote monitoring and control

When paired with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control your Multi and system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet from anywhere in the world using the free VRM app and the free VRM portal website. Access can be from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC for multiple operating systems. The control options are limitless, from setting your Multi to automatically starting a backup generator and more.
