Safety instructions for BRC control unit (Plug&Drive/Sequent Fast)

General safety instructions:

• The BRC control unit may only be installed and serviced by trained personnel.
• The BRC control unit must be installed in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
• The use of unauthorised spare parts or accessories can lead to malfunctions and safety risks.
• The BRC control unit must not be installed near flammable liquids or gases.
• The BRC control unit must be protected from moisture and dirt.
• The BRC control unit must not be opened or modified.
• The power supply must be switched off before installing the BRC control unit.
• The BRC control unit must be properly earthed.

Operating instructions:

• The BRC control unit must be protected from temperatures outside the specified operating range.
• The supply voltage must be within the specified operating voltage range.
• The BRC control unit must be connected correctly.
• The BRC control unit must not be operated for longer than recommended in order to avoid overheating and damage.
• The BRC control unit must not be operated in the vicinity of strong electromagnetic fields.
• The BRC control unit must be serviced regularly to ensure optimum performance and safety.
