The excess flow valve (EFV) automatically interrupts the gas flow as soon as the nominal pressure is exceeded by 10%. The emergency shut-off valve for propane cylinders thus prevents uncontrolled gas leakage.
The shut-off device is screwed directly onto the gas cylinder's withdrawal connection. The lpg regulator or a high-pressure hose is screwed onto the outlet of the shut-off device.
The relief valve is versatile and increases safety in gas operation, among other things:
- crafts
- leisure (barbecues, radiant heaters, etc.)
- gas installations in campers, caravans, boats or motorhomes
- commercial gas installations (food trucks, catering)
