SikaPower®-415 P1 - 400g

SikaPower-415 P1 is a one-component, cold-applied, humidity or temperature pre-curing, heat-curing sealant based on epoxy resin/polyurethane. SikaPower-415 P1 is suitable for sealing seams and joints in metal pipework, whereby the sealant is cured to a cross-linked elastomer by heat, for example in a cathodic dip-paint oven. Pre-curing can take place at room temperature via a surface reaction with air humidity or at an elevated temperature.

SikaPower-415 P1 enables the sealing of seams (laser, coarse and fine seams) and joints in metal shell construction. After application, the sealant forms a thin skin on the surface under the influence of air humidity (approx. 50% relative humidity) within approx. four hours, which protects it from washing out. Bonding of oiled substrates (common anti-corrosion and deep-drawing oils, approx. 2 g/m²) is possible due to the oil absorption during hot curing.
