The Truma gas socket enables campers to use gas from the vehicle outside, e.g. for barbecuing. The gas socket is fitted in the body of the vehicle and takes gas from the medium pressure line, after the gas regulator.
Gas extraction outside the vehicle
A BBQ point on your motorhome or caravan allows you to conveniently connect external gas appliances such as a barbecue, cooker or lighting. You will also need an 8 mm diameter gas pipe to install the gas socket and a gas hose with a plug-in connection for gas extraction. The socket is suitable for gas appliances with an operating pressure of 30 or 50 mbar.
The external gas socket is only approved for installation and operation in "caravans" (caravans) of vehicle class O and "motor homes" (motor caravans) of vehicle class M1.
When connecting external gas appliances, the operating pressure of the gas supply 30 or 50 mbar must match the operating pressure of the appliance to be connected (see type plate).
The push-in connection can only be coupled when the quick-action valve is closed. The safety lock can be released by pushing back the coupling sleeve.
The coupling K-valve is designed in such a way that the quick-action valve can only be opened when coupling by means of the plug-in connection. For coupling, the plug-in connection is inserted into the safety coupling. Operation is possible with one hand. When uncoupled, close the valve opening with the protective cap.
ATTENTION: The external gas socket is only suitable for gas extraction, not for feeding into the gas system.
