Abrasives

Abrasives play an important role in the conversion and expansion of motorhomes and camper vans. They are used for the following applications, among others:

Removing old paint and varnish: When converting older leisure vehicles, it is often necessary to remove existing layers of paint or varnish.

Surface preparation for subsequent painting: The surfaces must be smooth and free of residue. Abrasives are used to smooth out scratches or other irregularities.

Woodworking: Wood is often used for paneling in the interior of motorhomes and camper vans. Abrasives are ideal for smoothing surfaces or achieving a high degree of accuracy of fit.

Corrosion protection: When converting motorhomes or camper vans, it is important to prevent corrosion. Before applying a new anti-corrosion agent, rust spots are first treated with abrasives.
