Gas regulators for LPG tanks are used when the gas supply does not come from a conventional gas cylinder in the gas locker, but from a permanently installed LPG tank or vapour gas tank. They ensure that the gas withdrawn from the tank is supplied to the downstream installation at the correct operating pressure.
