Door and window contacts at cabin access points
A sonsor door and window contact consists of a sensor module and a magnet. When a door or window is opened or closed, their relative position changes and the system receives a corresponding notification. Suitable doors or windows inside the boat can therefore be monitored individually. The contacts work with sonsor mobil, home and hub. Contact monitoring and built-in motion detection identify different events.
Key fob and Key mode for the crew
The sonsor key fob supports automatic activation and deactivation of intrusion detection. Enable Key mode in the app so the system responds to whether an assigned key fob is detected nearby. On the boats page, the manufacturer describes this function for boarding and leaving the vessel. It depends on detecting the key fob close to the main unit.
Stand or wall mount inside the boat
The mounting plate used as a stand is suitable for sonsor mobil, sonsor home and the compatible alarm siren. A wall mount secures a compatible device using its screw holes and a surface for adhesive attachment. For the main unit, the manufacturer recommends a central position in the protected interior with an unobstructed front. The appropriate mounting accessory depends on the device, mounting surface and desired position.
How do you add accessories in the sonsor app?
Technical add-ons are connected in the app through the device settings, accessories section and add-accessory function. Before setup, check compatibility with the device and the installation instructions.
