However, if you want to monitor the fill level with a Mopeka PRO sensor, you will encounter a special feature – aluminium is not magnetic. This means that the sensors cannot be attached with magnets as usual. Instead, practical accessory solutions such as adhesive frames or clamping plates are used, which enable equally secure and precise measurement.
Magnets
Thanks to the integrated magnets, the Mopeka sensors are particularly easy to handle: They are simply pushed under the base of the bottle and adhere there reliably. This solution is suitable for all magnetic containers, such as steel gas cylinders. The sensor can be fitted in no time at all, remains securely in place at all times and provides you with precise readings – without any additional accessories.
Adhesive frame
The original Mopeka adhesive frames are the ideal solution for anyone who wants to use their sensor on aluminium gas cylinders. As aluminium cannot be attached magnetically, the use of a Mopeka adhesive frame is necessary. This practical accessory allows you to fix the Mopeka PRO sensor securely and permanently to the base of the cylinder – without it slipping. This ensures that the measurements remain precise and that you can read the exact fill level of your gas cylinder in the Mopeka app or on the monitor at any time.
Clamping plates
In addition to the adhesive frame, there is another option for securely attaching the Mopeka PRO sensor to aluminium bottles: the clamping plate. The clamping plate is fixed to the base of the bottle and provides a stable support surface for the sensor – without the need for adhesive. The Campko AUT51217 clamping plate, which was specially developed for this purpose, is particularly practical. This provides you with a durable and reusable fastening solution that is also easy to handle when changing bottles.
