What variants are available?
The Mopeka PRO sensors measure all types of liquids, depending on the model. The sensor is placed under the container and then measures the fill level via ultrasound with an accuracy of 99%. The result is transmitted via Bluetooth to an app, a stationary monitor or to a cloud.
The main difference lies in the accuracy of the measurements and the maximum possible size of the gas container. While the normal Mopeka sensors were designed for smaller cylinders, the Pro version also supports larger household tanks with a volume of up to 3,785 liters. According to current information from the manufacturer, only the PRO version will be available in future.

The MOPEKA PRO gas cylinder gas level indicator measures the level of gas cylinders and LPG tanks filled with LPG (propane/butane) with a maximum capacity of 3,785 liters.

The MOPEKA PRO Check Universal measures the fill level of almost all liquids such as LPG, water, diesel, heating oil, liquid gases, drinks, etc. with a maximum fill level of 3,785 liters.

The MOPEKA PRO Water measures the level of drinking water and gray water with a maximum capacity of 3,785 liters.
Model | Application range | Measuring range | Measuring accuracy | Installation | Data transmission | Special features |
Mopeka PRO gas cylinders | LPG (propane / butane) in LPG tanks & gas cylinders | Up to 3,785 L | approx. 99% | Via magnet (steel cylinder), adhesive frame (aluminum cylinder) or clamping plate | Bluetooth via app or stationary monitor | Compatible with Wi-Fi bridge and LCD display |
Mopeka PRO Check Universal | Almost all liquids such as LPG, diesel, heating oil, drinks, water | Up to 3,785 L | approx. 99.5% | Via magnet (steel bottle), adhesive frame (aluminum bottle) or clamping plate | Bluetooth via app or stationary monitor | Universal for many liquids |
Mopeka PRO water | Drinking and gray water in tanks | Up to 3,785 L | approx. 99% | Mounting via adhesive ring on the tank bottom | Bluetooth via app or stationary monitor | Compatible with Wi-Fi bridge and LCD display |
Further customized solutions for tanks with a capacity of up to 340,000 liters and an integrated mobile transmitter are available separately. Contact us for more information.
How does the sensor work?
The sensor is attached to the bottom of the cylinder using magnets and provides information about the level in a gas cylinder to an external monitor or Mopeka’s own app on your smartphone.
All three models use ultrasonic technology to determine the fill level and send the data via Bluetooth to the „Mopeka Check“ app, a stationary monitor or a cloud-enabled Wi-Fi bridge
Conclusion:
Gas cylinder sensor: Ideal for precise level measurement of LPG cylinders – magnetic or frame-mounted.
Check Universal: The most versatile model – measures almost any liquid with high precision
Water sensor: Specially designed for water tanks in vehicles – flat-mounted, reliable and easy to install.
