The Tomasetto AT02 LPG multivalve is homologated according to European standard ECE 67R-01. It fulfills important technical and safety functions in the operation of vehicles on LPG.
The Tomasetto multivalve model AT02 has an overpressure and overflow valve which, in the event of excessive internal pressure in the LPG tank, releases the LPG fuel in a controlled manner to prevent the tank from bursting. An integrated solenoid valve opens and closes the LPG conversion kit only when power is applied to the gas system. The 80% fill stop valve, as well as an integrated check valve prevent the overfilling of the LPG tank, as well as the backflow of the refueled LPG fuel. The Tomasetto multivalve also has a mechanical service valve that allows controlled draining of the tank contents in case of service or maintenance. An LPG tank sensor or tank sender can be mounted on the multivalve housing to transmit the gas tank level to the LPG tank gauge inside the vehicle.
As standard, all AT02 multivalves have an 8mm inlet - line from the LPG filling valve to the multivalve - and a 6mm outlet to the LPG reducer. Multivalves with model suffix "Extra" also have an 8mm outlet, have a higher flow rate and are suitable for high performance vehicles.
Tomasetto multivalves for cylindrical tanks are mounted at an installation angle of 0°. The model designation of the AT02 multivalve always indicates a diameter, abbreviated by "D." and the installation angle as a number of degrees "0°". Based on this information, it is easiest to find the right multivalve for your autogas tank.
