- Product description
This electromagnetic petrol shut-off valve from Tomasetto is specially designed for LPG conversion systems in vehicles with carburettor engines. It reliably cuts off the fuel supply as soon as the engine is switched to gas operation, thus preventing the simultaneous injection of petrol and gas.
The valve is installed in the engine compartment between the petrol pump and carburettor. It is connected via rubber hoses with an internal diameter of 6 mm or 8 mm. It is fitted to the vehicle chassis using the supplied bracket and screws, away from heat sources.
The integrated emergency lever allows the petrol flow to be opened manually if the electrical coil fails. To do this, the lever is simply turned from the normal position (closed) to the emergency position (open).
