LPG adapters ACME are used in Germany, Belgium, Ireland and Luxembourg.
LPG gas filling adapters with a W21.8x1/14" thread are often used in conjunction with an LPG filling valve called a "light filling valve" or "HK flat" for refuelling vehicles, motorhomes, campers and camper vans. The LPG tank, refillable gas cylinders, refillable gas cylinders or camper propane tanks can be filled via the external LPG filling point.

Internationally, there are four different connection systems at LPG refuelling stations - ACME, DISH, bayonet and Euronozzle. The LPG gas adapter ensures a secure connection between the LPG filling valve on the vehicle and the filling gun at the petrol station.

This adapter is only suitable for filling LPG tanks. Only use the adapter for LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and only in accordance with the instructions provided. Only connect the adapter to approved LPG refuelling stations and devices. Only use suitable and compatible connections. Always wear gloves during use to prevent possible cuts and cold burns. Improper use can result in serious injury or damage. Read and follow all safety instructions and warnings. If you have any questions about safe use, contact the manufacturer or an authorised dealer.
Preparation
Before installation, check the product for completeness and possible transport damage. Ensure that there are no sources of ignition or naked flames in the vicinity.
Wear suitable gloves at all times to avoid burns or cuts.
Check the adapter for leaks and visible damage. Caution! Incomplete or damaged LPG gas connectors must not be used!
Installation
Screw the adapter into the tank valve of your vehicle or tank by hand. Only tighten it hand-tight without using tools so as not to damage the thread. Caution! Only connect the adapter to authorised LPG filling stations and devices. Only use suitable and compatible connections.
Refuelling process
Connect the LPG nozzle of the petrol pump to the adapter in accordance with the instructions at the petrol station. Ensure that the adapter is firmly and securely attached before starting the refuelling process. Start the refuelling process according to the petrol station's instructions and always keep an eye on the filling process. Caution! Stop the refuelling process immediately if you notice any leaks.
Completing the refuelling process
Stop the refuelling process and disconnect the nozzle from the adapter.
Carefully unscrew the adapter from the fuelling valve and stow it away safely.
After refuelling
Check the valve for possible damage (e.g. to the seal or the thread). Store the adapter in a clean and safe place.
Cleaning and care
Clean the adapter regularly to prevent dirt from accumulating.
Check the adapter regularly for wear or damage. Replace the adapter if there is visible damage or signs of wear.
Safety note: Only use the adapter for its intended purpose and follow all applicable safety regulations for LPG refuelling operations.
