Alde wet heating is the heart of any Alde installation in a caravan or motorhome. A boiler warms the water-glycol mix, which carries heat quietly to the convectors and radiators. Depending on the energy source, the Compact 3030 range runs on gas and electricity, while the Compact 4000 D range runs on diesel.
The Compact 3030 range is the most widely fitted Alde heater and runs on gas, on mains electric or on a combination of both. That suits the usual gas and hook-up setup of British caravans and motorhomes. The Plus version adds further comfort and control features.
The Compact 4000 D produces heat from diesel and works independently of gas bottles. Unlike an air blown diesel heater, it does not push warm air through a fan; it warms the water-glycol mix of the Alde circuit for steadier, quieter heat.
